I have to antagonist that I really love, and it was really hard to choose one, but I think I pick Kuja from Final Fantasy IX as my favorite antagonist.

From all the FF antagonists, Kuja has the most depth, in my opinion. For me, Kuja is the “mismothered child” of the game, and the scene, where he learns the truth about his existence and his life span, was sooooo amazing!
Runner-up: Kefka from Final Fantasy VI.
I was thinking about this a lot. Every character in FF is a gem (okay, most of them), and it’s hard to choose one, who I can call my absolutely favorite. But I had to pick one, so my favorite male character has to be: ZIDANE from Final Fantasy IX.

I really liked him, he is a breath of fresh air compared to the other male protagonists from FF games. He is kind, funny, brave and honest character who really cares about his friends. And his background story was just super-interesting.
Runner-up: Balthier from Final Fantasy XII
I grew to absolutely love Garnet and Freya, but I REALLY wish that Beatrix were involved more! I adored her.
Oh, Beatrix, when I first played FFIX and had the first fight with her, I was really hoping that maybe Beatrix will be a part of the team. I like her too, she is really awesome (and her theme song is one of my favourite song from Nobuo Uematsu).
… for the 546456121 time, but still, the ending always brings me close to tears. This game is truly a masterpiece, my fav game of all time. :D)
(My ending team: Zidane // Amarant // Quina // Freya)
It’s kinda funny: from the Final Fantasy main series, I really loved every third installment better, than the rest. :D
Final Fantasy III, VI, IX, VII for the world :D
What should I play again? Chrono Cross or Final Fantasy IX? :D I love them both, but can’t decide. :D HALP MEEE! :):)
Rose Of May (FFIX) || KateTheGreat19
Final Fantasy fans, you know what this is. I loved FF9. I came across this again and it’s been years since I’ve heard it, I fell in love with it again
“war leaves its trail
in moonlight so pale
its shadows they flow
in rivers, in rivers
so put on my mask
I’ll go where they ask
so I might once again see the
Roses of May
Staining my soul and stinging my eyes
the red on my hands
won’t wash away, wash away
no where to run from what I have done
I’m no longer, no longer
a Rose of May
fate holds the blade before you
mirrored in maiden’s eyes
far from myself I fly
into the perilous skies
and they said
follow the blade before you
fear fall and courage rise
leave all your tears behind you
far from where innocence lies
